Hot bite and happy crew! I took Lauren out for a 6-hour offshore adventure with Have Fun Charter's in Shalimar, FL this summer. We set out early in the morning on Lake Lorraine under clear skies - perfect conditions for a day on the water. Our target-rich waters were calling, and I was eager to show Lauren some of our proven techniques for mackerel, snapper, and grouper. The lake was calm as we headed out, setting the stage for what promised to be a great day of fishing with Have Fun Charter's.

Once the stage was set, we got down to business. I started us off trolling, which is always a solid technique for covering water and finding active fish. We mixed things up with some bottom fishing, dropping our lines deep to target those structure-loving species. While we didn't land any trophies on this run, every cast and minute on the water was worth it.
