We had an amazing time and caught plenty of fish! Captain Robert Lee and his crew were knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive the entire trip. They kept our lines baited and made sure we stayed on the fish — every time the bite slowed down, the Captain knew exactly where to go next. Robert and Brooke were amazing! My husband and I came to Destin on our honeymoon and a fishing trip had to be in the plans. Brooke reached out to us and got our trip booked. Robert knows his spots and how to get some fish out of the water. It was an amazing trip and they are some genuine good people!

I had an incredible 4-hour morning Gulf fishing trip out of Shalimar/Ft. Walton Beach with my 8-year-old grandson. At 64, I’ve been deep sea fishing for decades, but this experience stood out as one of the best. From the start, communication with Robert and Brooke was smooth and helpful—they took time to understand what we wanted and recommended the perfect trip. Everything was well-organized: clear directions, an on-time departure, and a clean, well-equipped boat. Robert, Brooke, and Daniel made the entire experience personal and enjoyable. They worked nonstop to keep us fishing, baited lines, and shared expert tips along the way. Robert was amazing with my grandson—patient, encouraging, and even sent us photos and videos afterward. We caught plenty of fish, including big snappers, grouper, and our limit of mangrove snapper, plus several more we released. When we returned, they quickly cleaned and bagged our catch. It was an outstanding trip from start to finish—professional, friendly, and truly memorable. I highly recommend this crew for anyone looking for an amazing day on the Gulf.

Great time with them. Worried a little at first but turned out to be a heck of a good time. Can't say enough about the capt.and his deck hand. Great time would recommend to all.

Robert was amazing boat/fishing captain! We had such a lovely time for my son’s 11th birthday! He took us all over, avoided storms, had lots of different bait for us to use, and answered all 1 million of our questions. Also, doesn’t break the bank!! 10/10. Will go again with Robert!

Robert and Brooke were fantastic hosts for our morning offshore charter. We had two adults and two 9-year-olds, and they made sure the boys stayed busy catching fish the entire trip. We landed a nice mangrove snapper and a solid redfish, along with several other great catches that had to be released due to size and season. When one of the boys started feeling a little seasick, they were incredibly kind and attentive, offering Gatorade, water, and patience until he felt better. After the trip, they cleaned and filleted our catch and even recommended Anglers at the pier to cook it — the meal was outstanding. We book a fishing charter every year, and this was easily one of the best experiences we’ve had. Highly recommended!

The crew was awesome—friendly, knowledgeable, and knew exactly where to find the fish. We had a blast catching them almost as soon as our lures hit the water! The trip ended with a grand finale when we hooked a few sharks, got some great photos, and watched them break the line in true shark fashion. The crew even cleaned and bagged our catch afterward, making the whole experience easy and fun. An unforgettable day on the water!

We booked a 4-hour trip to give our young kids a taste of ocean fishing, and it couldn’t have gone better. Before the trip, communication with Brooke was quick, friendly, and helpful. On the morning of our charter, everything ran smoothly and right on time. The kids had a blast catching bait fish—sometimes pulling in five cigar minnows at once—before we headed out to deeper water. Once offshore, Robert and George were amazing with the kids, helping them catch fish and keeping the energy fun and positive. Both of my kids left saying they can’t wait to go again. I highly recommend booking with Have Fun and Captain Robert for a great family fishing experience.

We had such a great time! They knew all the best spots, and we were catching fish almost as soon as we hit the water. This was the perfect trip for kids, they were patient and accommodating, and booking was super simple! We will definitely be back!

Our typical charter boat was booked so I made a post on FB looking for a charter. Within 15 minutes, Brooke responded and we set up a time to go. They were waiting on us with a smile when we arrived and helped us load our gear. Within 20 minutes we had fish in the boat. Captain Robert and his first mate Daniel worked their tails off to put us on fish, make sure we had bait and taught us different techniques to catch the most fish. We did a 6 hour evening charter that resulted in over 30 fish in the boat, 7 dolphin encounters and a beautiful sunset ride back to the bay. I will definitely be going out with them again next year. If you are looking for an inshore trip give them a call. Brooke and Robert’s southern hospitality make the trip even better!

My AC repair guys did such a great job for us we booked them a trip with Capt. RL who we have known for over 15 years. They had a blast bottom fishing, catching something on almost every drop! They caught red snapper, triggerfish, mingo snapper and more. Highly recommend this company to anyone who want to have fun with a captain who has been fishing these waters his whole life. Nice work Captain. Can’t wait to go catch em up again.
